Overview
Vendia’s marketing team launched a podcast focused on innovation in data and collaboration, featuring industry leaders discussing how to break down data silos and drive value. They needed a visual identity for the podcast that aligned with Vendia’s core branding while evoking a sense of harmonious data collaboration.
Conducted competitive analysis and researched design trends to inform the podcast’s visual identity. Executed the project in alignment with Vendia’s brand strategy and under the guidance of the Head of Design. Collaborated with the marketing team to develop a distinct yet brand-aligned style, complete with its own guidelines and color story. Created engaging design assets for use across email campaigns, social media, and web platforms.

Through research, I identified industry best practices for podcast branding, noting that most channel icons and show covers either feature a photo of the host or use bold graphic design centered around the podcast name. These insights informed strategic design decisions for Circles of Trust.

For the Circles of Trust podcast, the branding objective was to create a distinct yet cohesive visual identity that aligned with Vendia’s overarching brand. The design centered around the theme of harmonious data collaboration, reflected through both conceptual and visual elements.
To achieve this, I developed a logo system that subtly referenced the podcast’s acronym, "CoT," by vertically aligning the first letters of each word. The title text was spaced to match the height of the central circle graphic, reinforcing unity. I chose Gill Sans Nova Inline for its interlined structure, which visually conveyed synchronicity and alignment, the core values of the show.
Color was also a critical part of brand cohesion. I used a tertiary version of Vendia’s core gradient and a secondary gradient built from its darkest purple shade. This bold contrast helped the podcast stand out while maintaining a strong connection to the parent brand.
The background design was intentionally kept subtle to emphasize the logo. I adapted Vendia’s wave motif into a layered, dark purple gradient to create depth and visual hierarchy. Abstract data visuals were incorporated to add a modern, tech-forward edge. Together, these elements created a peaceful yet dynamic visual system, with feedback noting its sense of harmony and clarity, perfectly supporting the podcast’s theme of collaborative innovation.

As part of the Circles of Trust podcast branding rollout, I created a cohesive suite of supporting assets that extended the brand across key marketing channels. This included:
Podcast Show Cover: Built around the distinct logo and layered wave background, the cover featured Vendia’s tertiary and secondary gradients to create strong visual contrast while maintaining brand alignment. The composition highlighted the theme of data collaboration through overlapping circles and subtle tech-driven details, establishing a recognizable identity across platforms.
Email Banners: Designed to reflect the podcast’s visual language, the email banners utilized the same gradient and typography system. Each banner clearly communicated upcoming episodes or featured guests while maintaining a clean, branded look suitable for professional outreach and newsletters.
Social Posts with Guest Quotes: Leveraging feedback and industry trends, I developed a modular design for quote graphics shared on LinkedIn and Twitter. These visuals featured direct quotes from podcast guests, paired with their name, title, and company. The use of Vendia’s gradients and consistent typography ensured that each post was visually tied to the larger brand, while the content highlighted the podcast’s value through thought leadership.
Together, these assets formed a visually consistent and flexible brand system that supported the podcast’s goals of audience engagement, brand awareness, and content-driven storytelling.
