Overview
Vendia, a venture-backed SaaS startup enabling real-time, secure data sharing across ecosystems, needed a new presentation deck as part of its rebranding. I led the redesign to reflect the company’s “Kind Humans” policy with a friendly, fun aesthetic, while ensuring the deck was easily accessible via Google Cloud and simple to implement across teams.
Conducted competitive analysis and researched design trends and Google Slides requirements. Collaborated with the Head of Design and cross-functional teams to gather feedback and iterate. Developed and maintained a branded presentation template and usability deck, created detailed internal guidelines, and designed future sales and pitch decks to ensure brand consistency.

Competitive analysis & research
Competitive analysis & research
Industry analysis and design trend research revealed that effective presentation decks typically include 6–8 themed slides. While many companies use a photo-heavy, minimal corporate style, a growing trend favors layered graphic assets that offer a more approachable and refreshed look, aligning well with Vendia’s core values and branding direction.
However, there is also a growing trend of layered graphic assets that gave a more refreshed approachable look that inlined with Vendia’s core values.
Once the new brand direction was finalized, I began full development of the presentation deck, incorporating key graphic elements from the UI design and original slides.
Feedback from marketing and sales highlighted the need for a more corporate look, which I addressed by using minimal lines and clean graphic edges while retaining brand gradients. Ultimately, two versions of the deck were launched to meet different needs.

Feedback
While the new branded presentation deck successfully launched, limited time for iteration led to usability issues. The graphic assets often lacked space for both copy and technical diagrams, some text colors lacked accessibility, and internal teams consistently used only 3–4 layouts. Revealing that many slides were impractical or underutilized.

Feedback
The second launch helped solve the copy space issues as well as giving the deck a more minimal clean feel. Updating the rules regarding what colors of text helped to reduce the number of accessibility issues. Later, it was decided that the current branding direction needed to change to reflect a darker more corporate photographic forward direction.

As Vendia shifted toward a darker brand theme, I collaborated with the VP of Marketing to implement a new iteration using a previously researched purple/blue color direction. This version emphasized full-image backgrounds with minimal graphics, aligning with the updated branding and visual goals.
